BC Chamber Board Election – Nanaimo AGM 2013

Nine candidates ran for four BC Chamber Board positions (2 year term)…there was an election, there were speeches, there was extensive politicking…I was lucky enough to be elected for one of the 4 positions. 🙂 I want to personally thank the Victoria team in attendance, Bruce Carter, Darlene Hollstein, Oriane Fort & John Espley (for Accent Inns)…they were spectacular in securing votes from other Chambers, for lobbying on my behalf…this successful election would not have happened without their hard work.

I think this new electoral process was generally well received, invigorated the membership and challenged the candidates to defend their value proposition…thanks for GVCC support, it was hugely appreciated.
