Apr. 2014 – CRD Board meeting – North Saanich Regional Context Statement (RCS)
You may recall that an amendment to the North Saanich Regional Context Statement (RCS) was to be debated at the CRD Planning Committee meeting last week. I am pleased to say that the amendment passed, and the matter has now been scheduled to be voted on at the next CRD Board meeting to be held next Wednesday 9 April.
The SNSIG Workforce Housing Subcommittee is again asking for your support in registering to speak in support of the proposed RCS amendment at the CRD Board meeting next week, on Wednesday 9 April at 1:30pm, at the CRD offices in Victoria.
How to Register to Speak at the CRD Board Meeting
As a member of the public, you may communicate with the CRD Board in two ways: submit a letter to the Board Chair, or register to speak at the meeting in person. Speaking in person is preferred (as it is likely more effective).
- Submit your comments in writing to the Board Chair, Alastair Bryson: crdchair@crd.bc.ca. The appropriate greeting would be: ‘To the Chair and Board of Directors of the Capital Regional District’
- You are welcome to address the Board of the CRD in person. The CRD Board will meet in the Board Room at CRD Headquarters, 625 Fisgard Street. You can make an online request to speak or complete this printable form (PDF). Printed forms can be submitted by fax to 250.360.3130. You may also call the CRD main number and request to be added to the speakers list for the meeting: 250.360.3000
Your request to speak must be received no later than 4:30 pm on Monday April 7th.
