Hi Everyone. Welcome to fall (colours, rain and sun) and soon Thanksgiving! I’m back from my travels and want to thank John Juricic for ably (terrific, entertaining, enigmatic…) organizing and hosting the SBC meeting last month.
In today’s world, it is almost impossible to not be aware of the significant changes incurring in our environment. We have, in our own back yard, another of our manufacturing companies whose mission is “to make our customers successful in their efforts to monitor, record, and analyze changes in the natural environment”. Our meeting this month will feature FTS (Forest Technology Systems) with a talk given by David Reid, CEO. David, who has been at the helm of FTS since January 2015 is leading this 35+ year local manufacturing company into the future will be talking about FTS’s PDLC process (Product development lifecycle process) that has been implemented over the last year.
There has been a lot of effort in all areas of the FTS organization and there has been a significant change in how products are developed. David will talk about this change in the context of the organization and the cultural shift that is taking place. Please join us to hear more about this company and the new products that are being developed in response to our changing environment.
