Hi Everyone. Summer is well upon us (early and dry!) and this month’s meeting, as in previous years, will be the last till September.
This month, we are continuing to feature another of our local companies, Schneider Electric, Victoria. Schneider as many of you may know purchased Power Measurement some years ago, one of our early pioneering start-up companies. Schneider Electric employs over 160,000 people worldwide, founded in 1836 with headquarters in Grenoble France. It is the global specialist in energy management and automation.
We are pleased to have Mark Goddard, Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Schneider Electric, Keating Cross Road as our guest speaker this month. Mark, with a background in Electronics, Automotive, Aerospace and Medical Devices industries both in the UK and Canada will be talking about *Schneider Supplier Quality Management (SSQM): Overview of process to approve suppliers”.
This should be a great topic both for our local manufacturing sector as well as for those of us who are interested in finding out more about the variety, size and scope of our technology/manufacturing industrial sector.
I look forward to seeing you at our meeting and trust everyone has a great summer!
