The Camosun Technology Access Center (CTAC) is hosting a regional manufacturing & industry monthly gathering to assist & encourage networking, business development and innovation based solutions, dialogue & information.
The Manufacturing Professional’s Network will meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of every month @ 8:30am. The meeting will officially last for an hour unless inspiration forces us to keep chatting. The location will be the Cafeteria Annex at the Interurban Campus – 4461 Interurban Rd. Coffee and muffins will be served courtesy CTAC.
This group is limited to people who manage, and work directly within, the manufacturing industry in southern Vancouver Island.
The network’s meetings are designed to be interactive, provide real value for the participants, and focus on the following:
- Marketing of the Industry – identification of market size & type – start to work & partner together more effectively.
- Innovative Manufacturing – supporting best practices in process improvement and the application of innovation management.
- Lack of Skilled Trades – engaging in a more constructive, detailed analysis & understanding of employment requirements & solutions.
- Corporate Business Development – exchange & understand regional skill sets, deliverables and equipment & technology inventories to facilitate business development.
