🚢 New Initiative Supporting the Saanich Peninsula Marine Sector

The Saanich Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of its Marine Sector Committee — a focused initiative created to support and advocate for the region’s industrial marine businesses. https://peninsulachamber.ca/groups/marinecommittee/

The Saanich Peninsula is a recognized marine hub in the Pacific Northwest, with strong assets, deep expertise, and significant growth potential. The Marine Sector Committee has been formed to address shared challenges facing the sector, including industrial land use, working harbour access, regulatory coordination, and workforce development.

The Committee will bring marine businesses together, build credible sector data, engage with government, and provide a coordinated voice to support a strong, resilient marine economy on the Peninsula.

Marine business owners, industry stakeholders, and community partners with an interest in the future of the sector are encouraged to get involved.
